Domestic Delivery by post

Parcels are sent via Australia Post and either delivered to your door or a card will be placed in your letterbox for you to collect your parcel from their nominated Post Office during business hours. 

Parcels can be sent c/- post office mail boxes.

Collect by hand

We are also happy for you to collect your order directly from us by prior arrangement. This will save on postage or ideal for collecting Sizes 55 to 58+ Filled sets if you live outside Metro Melbourne.  Please let us know at the time of ordering.  We will contact you when your order is ready to collect, to organise a mutually convenient time for pick up.

Overseas postage

We can send orders overseas. 

Bed sets can only be sent as a Fill-it-yourself flat pack.

Postage rates vary from country to country and calculated by weight.

International insurance

Insurance provides coverage against loss, theft or damage.                        The service provides proof of posting, secure handling and a signature on delivery. You can choose for an insurance cover for up to $5000 (some countries have a limit lower than $5000). Where available, the insurance fee is $5.50 plus $2.00 per $100, or part thereof, up to $5,000.

Delivery times

As each Barka Parka is individually made to order rather than an “off the shelf” item, we ask that you be patient with the time it takes to get your

order to you.  Rest assured you and your pet will realize it was well worth the wait and the time taken in making sure you have a quality-made pet bed.

The average delivery time is approx 3wks from time of receiving your order. 

However this can vary depending on demand.  We will let you know the exact delivery time when we call to confirm your order.

Do you have a special reason to receive your order earlier, such as a sick pet, new pup arriving, birthday, Christmas  etc?   Please let us know when we call to confirm your order so we can arrange an earlier delivery. 

We will contact you by email, phone call or SMS when your pet’s bed has been despatched so you can keep a ”look-out” for it.
